OK, I have to confess that this story is a particular favorite of mine. Not because I am a huge Celine Dion fan, but because I love the fact that TokBox has kept this group of fans and friends together despite the hundreds of miles that separate them.
I found out about this story from two different TokBoxers, Jennifer and Chelsey. They video mailed me to tell me about a very special group of friends who had all met at one of the concerts on the Celine Dion World Tour. It seems that they met, connected over their shared passion for Celine Dion’s music, and vowed to keep in touch with each other and continue to share their love for Celine’s music.
They are scattered all over the world, England, Australia, Canada and across the US and regularly use TokBox to video chat with each other and send video mails (here’s a photo of some of them video chatting on TokBox).
The girls share YouTube videos like this one of their concert after party (I love the singing girls!) and other Celine Dion music videos, relive their experiences and get to know each other even better even though they are miles apart.
Chelsea, Jennifer, thanks for telling us your story and we look forward to hearing more tales about how you’re using TokBox to stay in touch…I’d love to see a video mail of one of you performing your favorite Celine song, for example.

I am a fellow Celine fan, but haven’t been able to video chat with all these amazing girls…yet. I live in the “boonies” and just not possible..but hopefully one day that will be resolved.

I am so excited to see this story up. I have posted the link on my facebook, twitter, and on the official Celine Dion website. I’m SO excited that this story is in the blog. I’ve told all my friends about it, added the link to my facebook and joined the discussion on the CelineDionForum. Tokbox truly has kept us close together, so thanks!!! (and hopefully we can get more people on tokbox by the end of the week like Chelsey said – we’re definately working on it!!!)

Hooray! I am so happy to be featured on TokBox. We still use this site every single day to talk with each other, to send videos messages, or just to chat with the messenger. I am so glad that we are able to keep in touch still because my life would be incomplete without all of my amazing Celine-loving friends! Thank you
